Fragrance Creators Names Laure Moutet Manheimer as 2019 Bruell Award Recipient
Moutet Manheimer has dedicated her career to promoting and protecting fragrance
ARLINGTON, Virginia—Fragrance Creators Association recognized Laure Moutet Manheimer as the recipient of the 2019 Eric Bruell Distinguished Service Award at its annual Spring Dinner, held today at Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, New Jersey.
Over four decades, Moutet Manheimer served as Owner and President of JPM Imports, Inc., and Vice President of Sales at J. Manheimer Inc., and Kerry Ingredients & Flavors. She was the first woman to serve on the Board of Directors for Fragrance Creators Association (then called Fragrance Materials Association), and the first and only woman to receive the association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She was also the first woman on the Board and a founding member of the European Federation of Essential Oils, where she currently serves. Moutet Manheimer was the first recipient of the Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce Woman of the Year Award. Continuing her trailblazing record, she is the first woman recipient of the Eric Bruell Distinguished Service Award.

Since 1991, leading members of the U.S. fragrance industry have gathered each year at the association’s Spring Dinner to recognize one colleague who has made considerable contributions and advancements to help drive the industry forward.
“Laure is one of our industry’s most beloved leaders,” said Robert Weinstein, Ph.D., Chairman of the Fragrance Creators Board of Directors and President & CEO of Robertet USA. “I admire her many achievements, especially her championing of young professionals to ensure the future of our industry is in good hands.”
With the presentation of the award, Fragrance Creators expresses its sincere appreciation to Moutet Manheimer for her steady leadership and many contributions to the fragrance industry.
